About Megan Kanz

Megan Kanz owns and runs EquiworkSAcc which offers internationally recognized certification courses in equine complementary health care. In 2001 Megan completed her Honours Degree in Equine Studies (Science) through the University of Essex, England as well as qualifying as an Equine Body Worker through Equinology Inc. USA. Megan continued with her studies through Equinology® Inc. to achieve her Master Equine Body Worker qualification in 2002. From 2001 until returning to SA in Dec 2004, Megan managed the running of the Equinology® Inc. curriculum (Equinenergy Ltd.) in the UK, worked as a freelance therapist in South East England and as a contract lecturer in Complementary Therapies at Writtle College. Megan returned to Nottingham Rd, KZN and has established EquiworkSAcc.  She aims to achieve a truly holistic approach to her work, by combining the touch of hands-on therapies with the latest in therapeutic equipment. Apart from the more intensive rehab cases that are brought to her at the Meadows farm, her time is spent working cases primarily in and around the KwaZulu Natal Midlands, managing and promoting EquiworkSA and the equine healthcare field and enjoying her young family.
