ABOUT CANINOLOGY® USA
World-renowned Instructors
At
Caninology, Inc ® we strive to produce the leaders
in this ever challenging field. On site instruction
ensures
your confidence and provides the professional techniques,
knowledge and tools you need to succeed in this
type of specialty. Like our successful equine program
which began 1994, we offer you veterinarians and
specialists who are household names from around the
world teach our 12 various dog courses. Our instructors
keep up with the rapidly changing information in
the equine health industry to make sure our students
evolve and stay current in this wonderful field. If you
wish other professionals to take you seriously, you
need to show them you have established a solid foundation in the
canine health care industry.
Multiple Certification Levels
Courses at Caninology, Inc ® are presented in
modular formats. We stress continuing education to
enhance
and expand your knowledge. Other schools tend to
offer only one or two classes due to the fact additional
courses are subsidized by the foundation body work
courses. If you are familiar with us, you know that
is not
our style! In addition to our Canine Body Worker
(CBW®),
and our Canine Body Worker Level II (CBWII®),
we offer specialized canine courses especially formatted
for the dog. Now you can add acupressure,
myofascial release, and craniosacral techniques along
with other natural therapies to your repertoire.
Monitored Externships
We go the step beyond a “business” education
service through our compulsory externships that accompany
each course. We provide a set of guidelines for each
externship so that students can build on and assimilate
all
the information from each course. Then, we test for
each level of certification. You will find other
professional
appreciate this fact. Student performance is closely
monitored. We are proud of our name and our graduates.
With a 95% externship pass rate (80% is required
to attain the certification in both practical and
theory portions
of the externship), successful graduates are extremely
well prepared as equine body workers.
Courses Suitable for Professionals and New Students
The Caninology program is aimed towards serious students
who strive to be leaders in their chosen profession.
Our courses are regularly attended by professionals
such as veterinarians, physical therapists, human
massage
therapists, massage therapists, trainers, kennel
managers, and chiropractors as well as those who
are just
beginning their studies. The courses are taught in
such a comprehensive logical format, that individuals
with
little or no complementary canine care and science
background will find themselves up to speed with
the other
professional participants. If you have minimal dog
handling skills, or you are unfamiliar with canine
behavior or
you are possibly just exploring canine body work,
we suggest you begin with the CN3005: Introduction
to
Canine Body Work. |
