Megan Kanz, BSc (Hons), MEBW

Megan Kanz has been living in the United Kingdom since September 1998, before which she was resident in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa. She began her studies at Writtle College, part of the University of Essex where she completed a BSc Honours Degree in Equine Studies (Science). Megan has been involved with Equinology UK (Equinenergy) since June 2001 and she attained the Equinology Inc?. Advanced Equine Body Worker certification (AEBW) in March 2003.

Her time is currently divided between working on clients horses, tutoring students towards their Equine Body Worker (EBW) qualifications and acting as a teacher assistant at all courses run in the United Kingdom.

Megan holds the Advanced Equine Body Worker qualification, which along with Advanced Sports Massage Techniques, includes studies in Principles of Saddle fitting, Farrier Science and Dentistry, Gait Abnormalities and Equine Biomechanics. Additional modalities such as CranioSacral Therapy, Acupressure as well as Myofascial Release techniques are incorporated into her sports massage sessions.

Megan will be returning to South Africa in November 2004 and will be settling in Nottingham Road with her husband. She intends to develop a South African clientele and manage EquiworkSA.
